Found it by
Cheryl Isaak
Remember I was wondering what I did with a bracelet I had temporally strung
on elastic cord.
Well - I found it this morning and wore it at work. Decided I was pretty
happy with it, but it really needs a heavier elastic cord or the exactly
right clasp.
I like work jewelry to be easy to remove or...

new pictures up by
Shirley Shone
I have finally got the last 5 necklaces I have made on my web site.
There are 3 crocheted wire ones.
One made from a design out of bead and button that is supposed to be a
bracelet.
The other made form beads in my stash.
Hugs
Shirley

Sorting & Organizing Beads by
Barbara62
My craft room is a mess! I no sooner get it cleaned up than I mess it
up. Am I alone in this? Also, I have
tried a couple different ways of organizing my beads, but never seem
to do it right. First, I tried color; then,
I tried type, i.e. crystals, pearls. After I finish organizing it one
way,...

Best "How To" Beading books? by
mermaidscove_com
The Carol Wilcox Wells book you already have is very good, I learned
with that and The New Beadwork by Kathlyn Moss, Alice Scherer, and
Tommy Olof Elder whic had a lot of different types of work to look at
in it.

Burning Question by
Barbara62
Ignoring them is difficult. I love the ones, who also say they could
make it too. The urge to ask them why
they don't might overwhelm me some day. Mostly, I try to ignore
people like that and go to someone who
is interested in what I am displaying. Or if there is no one else
there, I make a...

Wearing Jewelry by
Barbara62
I have a real problem with nickel. Early on, I discovered nickel was
an allergen, when I had to wear a leg
brace. My ears are particularly sensitive to nickel. I do not have
pierced ears. And, yes, I have pained
my clip-ons with clear nail polish, but it is not a perfect solution.
However, I...

Burning Questions: How do you deal with... by
Sterling[_3_]
how do you deal with people who look at your jewelry and say "that's a nice bracelet but too
expensive for me to buy" and you know damn well that they are totally good for it?? Then you see
them the next day with a Wal-Mart or Macy's special on their wrist that doesn't look near as pretty
as...

Anyone hate working with specific colors? by
Sterling[_3_]
I am just finishing up the last pair of earrings for a wedding I am doing, and I've come to the
realization that I hate working with the color red. Seriously though, when I stopped and looked at
my collection of jewelry that I've made, I really didn't have anything red - cept for some coral....
