Extra Square Swaps by
JW
I just ran across this MSN group today and thought it might be of interest
to those of us on here who would like to do more than one swap in a month.
This group has an ongoing square exchange and you can do as little or as
much as you want. It's worth checking out. Seems to be well...

Vent! by
Helen \Halla\ Fleischer
This has got to be the most annoying spam to hit my mail box, yet!
Why? Because the finks used an innocuous sounding name and subject line
that made me look! Well, at the mere code version anyway, not launching it.
Thank goodness for that bit of native caution and handy feature of Agent!
Then I...

crocheted sachet stuffing by
Anna MCM
Hi!
I´m going to try the pattern for a crocheted sachet:
http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/lffunt/hanger.htm
I already have the yarn, the ribbon and the tulle (well, it´s not really
tulle, but I don´t know the name of the fabric, even in Italian LOL).
I don´t want to use poutpourri, since many people...

6x6 questions (in advance for november) by
Elsa (remove nospam to reply)
Hi,
I missed the sign up for October's 6x6, so I am asking questions so I can be
prepared for November's 6x6.
1. What materials and yarn weight do you knit the squares in? acrylic, worsted weight?
2. Are there patterns available, or should I just consult my stitch book?
3. Can we do cables or...

International Packages.... by
Noreen's Knit*che
I just talked to one of my cousins, who works in Import/Export
for FedEx...
and...
she said there is some new 'threat' and that FedEx 'and' UPS
'and' USPostalService are all VERY slow in getting OUT and
getting IN international packages.
This could be why a package I sent to Cher hasn't arrived...

OT - I deny you to panic by
Anna Vuori
First things first. Jacqueline, your 2 squares...Situation now: The 1st one
is done. Second one will be done in the near future, I promise. And then the
reason to the subject line...My health is not the best one, you know. At the
moment my chest feels tight again. It should not be tight, not now!...

The Dirt by
SlinkyToy
Ok, there's been enough demand for The Full Story that I'll post it
and be done.
Back in May I located a spinning wheel in UK that I really wanted.
The wheel was being offered by a weaving/spinning shop. Initially I
asked her if I could put it on layaway, then had to put the purchase
on hold. In...

Two things I've knit by
SuperEeyore
So I took some pictures yesterday. The first three are of the blanket I
knit for Juliet when I was pregnant with her. That's how I learned to knit,
pattern from Vogue on the go - baby blankets. And some how to knit book
from the library. It was knit in four triangles, bobbled edge first. ...
