OMG, how funny by Su/Cutworks
Poor Harold, apparently he had a link to his site in his auctions and they were pulled by eBay! So he's relisted them all, serially, with the titles reading out a story. Check out his gallery and read the titles in...

AD: Summer Fun Loribeads by Loribeads
I took a trip up to Sacramento to visit Kim W. (www.kimbeads.com ) and we had a fantastic time. Girl time is the best! Since Mark has gone back to work and Desiree (18) has decided to live "communally" with a group of her friends, I have been getting pretty restless around the house all by...

AD Purple Dangle Beads by Glitzy Glass Studio by Glitzy Glass
I just wanted to share this new set http://snipurl.com/gh29 I really was surprised by these beads when they came out of the kiln. I really love the shades of purple and fuschia, but I especially love the way they feel. Denise Glitzy Glass Studio http://snipurl.com/gh29

Round Tuquoise Bead Necklace? by Haolemon
I am looking for a source for the above. Preferably 10mm beads, round like pearls, and uniform in color. Most of the turquoise I see is irregular in shape. Perhaps the stone doesn't lend itself to being fashioned in a round shape. Any help would be aprreciated. Thanks

Mandrals -- making them yourself by Fragile Warrior Bees
Surely these can be made by the lampworker? SS rods in various sizes can't take a whole lot of special prep, right? Does anyone here make their own? Where do you get the rod material, a welding supplier? Hardware store? Do you think I used enough "?s" in just a few lines of text? Should I...

Hey, I dunno if anyone posted this yet by Kalera
but I thought it might be kind of interesting: Ursela (Touch of Glass of recent photo-stealing fame) sent an email to Greg at the ISGB, and frankly the way the letter is written - the tone, the grammar, everything - makes me believe that she's telling the truth. I stumbled upon the post by...

I have been wandering again. Pat my friend who went blind and has a little sight returned, asked us to take her to her cabin cruiser on the Norfolk Broads. Pat is unable to drive. We went to Wroxham to get on the boat. It is the first time we have been in summer, we usually go in the winter. It...

me + antique necklace = huge project. help! by greenfrog
So, I just started, and my excitement has spread. My mom is sending me an antique necklace that was my great-grandma's and she wants me to make things for all the girls in the family. We figured that there would be about 12 beads per person. The necklace is made of iridescent glass pearls, in a...

AD: Golden Tiger Baroque Suite on da Bay by Susan B.
I spent the weekend playing with tiger beads, my first foray into the gentre. I am pleased with the results - perfect for a power piece for fall I think. These are chunky disks, tabs and barrels - left to look like roughly cut nuggets and pebbles rather than perfect uniform shapes, seemed more wild...
