Want your opinion on my quilts... by
Dutch Quilter
Hello all,
After postponing for years I finally took the time to create a website to
show off my quilts. I would like to have your opinion, so please take a look
and vote for your favorite.
Thank you!

Just bought a Brother Innovis! by
Gerrycam1
This machine is great.Bought it for classes because it is so lightweight. No
foot control(unless you want to put it on for free machine quilting)because you
adjust the speed with a control on the machine, totally light weight, 120
stitches with length and width set for you automatically like on an...

I found this site:

applique question - adding after the top is together? by
CANDCMOM2
I don't know what the "RULE" is but any applique that I've done was on a single
block. Here's the question, I have a quilt top all put together and thought I
was finished with it but there are very large blocks of white that I was just
going to put some fancy hand quilting in. This was a block of...

Walmart Fabric by
[email protected]
Today my S.O. went to Walmart's and bought fabric. It is all $3.96 a
yard. It looks so thin and the colors are not great. She has purchased
from her quilt store where she takes lessons but thinks the $6-$9 per
yard to much.
What do you think?
My opinion is that if you are going to put in all...

News from Royce by
Royce
All this running around buying stuff to furnish a second home keeps me away
from the fridge & gets me moving. We can only do this stuff when DH has his
days off. This week it's W-Th.-F.
Today we went to the second hand shop again, set up for our furniture to be
delivered here on Friday, picked...

Heat and Bond lite by
KJ
After being a WonderUnder user for many years, I switched to Heat and Bond
lite for fusible appliqué projects. At first I ignored the instructions
(after all, I KNEW how to fuse!) and I wasn't happy with the results. So I
have tried fusing with their directions and am still not very happy, ...

Do I have to quilt in a 2" border? by
Eli
I am quilting a lap quilt. I have an inner border about 36" x 45" x 2". I
quilted in the ditch on both sides of the border. I'm using Warm and Natural
batting. Is it okay to leave that border area unquilted? I know width-wise
it's okay (only 2"). But what about the long length? Will the...

OT EUREEKA! by
NightMist
We figured it out!
Y'all know our Ash has language troubles.
Well, since starting school, he has picked up more words and phrases.
He has been putting his hands up to his cheeks and exclaiming
"People! People! Oh noooo!"
and he has often been heard to proclaim "watch watch watch"

Useful Tools for the Sewing Room by
~K-K~
Many of these items can be found around the house (the kitchen or husband's work space) or at your local quilting, hardware or office store.
Chop Sticks - use the Japanese ones as the tips are a little more rounded.
Use them for turning points and stuffing.
Peep Hole - for getting perspective on...

Squished! by
frood
It's a gorgeous day outside - the birds are singing, all's right with the
world. Mungo the ever-vigilant watchdog came and told me something sinister
was afoot. Someone had trespassed on his domain! Come! Look! So, I go to the
front door - nobody's there. I spy the mail truck just driving off....
