Need help identifying sampler by
Susan Hartman/Dirty Linen
There is a chart I saw a couple of years ago (2-3, and it wasn't
particularly "new" then) and I can't think of the title nor remember the
designer.
It's a sampler, stitched on black fabric, featuring a skyline of Russian
onion-dome buildings...like the Moscow skyline? Colors, IIRC, are
peaches and...

software program for converting photos to XS by
PHYLCAMP
In your experience, what software programs are out there for converting photos
to XS? I like complicated XS with lots of color for shading. What pros and
cons should I look for in a program? I have a PC with 120G Harddrive, so space
is no problem. What programs should I stay away from and why?...

Annabell's Angel by

Does anyone have a copy of Ruth Hanke's Annabell's Angel? I would like to
order the fabric for her from Silkweaver while they have a sale on, and I
won't get my copy of the pattern until the New Year. If some kind person
could tell me how much fabric I need to order I'd be very...

clancy
I just picked up this gorgeous book the other day - called Pillows from
Paula's Garden (Paula Vaughan) - it is absolutely stunning. It jumped right
off the rack into my hands ... soooo I had to take it home. :-)

A Framing Question by
Russell Miller
Can anyone tell me if framing is done the same way for all needlepoint?
I am stitching a picture onto 32 ct. silk mesh and stitching with Eterna
silk threads. Can this be safely 'stretched' and pinned like the work I
do with D.M.C. cotton on Aida? I've worked so long on this one
particular piece...

Sorta On-Topic Hooray! by
Karen C - California
After 9/11, I mentioned to Adopted Big Brother that a group was stitching
ArtVenture's "Fireman's Prayer" for each of the fallen NYFD. When he saw the
companion piece (Fireman's Wife), he asked me to make 2 FP and 1 FW.
(Promptly got sidetracked with clothes for fireman's baby.....)
Well, Mom...

DMC 161? by
Monique Reed
I've got a little freebie chart that calls for DMC 161. Huh? The
solid color numbers don't go down that far. Is this something not in
the U.S.? Or is it a typo?
The chart is at:

OT - Hey Sheena part 2 by
Cheryl Isaak
Hi Sheena - I finished the Gellis book last night. Good read, historical
details are good, but I dearly hope Gellis is not setting up Ms. Borgia as a
detective. I really hate it when real historical figures start solving
crimes.
