Have the Clergy clothes been updated ? by

Just like in the 2000, we watched the This Pope`s visit with great
curiousity ,
I have noted that this time the clothes of the Pope as well as of his
Entourage , were less embroidered than the Former Pope`s clothes ,
Also i think [by the way the clothes mooved in the winds , that the

Transferring Crewel Designs to Fabric by
Patricia Amos[_2_]
Can someone point me to a reference which describes how to
transfer a crewel design to fabric, including brand names of hot-iron
transfer paper and copy pencils and possibly using a computer
and printer to accomplish the purpose?
Any help will be appreciated.

OT snowing again.... by
Dawne Peterson
This morning we had snow and 70 km/hr winds, which drove the snow
horizontally. One of our company's regional managers started to drive west,
and had to turn back--it was an actual blizzard.
And how was your summer????

New Photos by
The Lady Gardener[_3_]
Hello All
I've recently completed a workshop with CA Wells, and have added some
pictures
of the finished products - The Acorn Etui, and a little bag which started
out
its life as "Mermaid's Purse" but ended up a French Confection (happy for
other
names to be suggested). I've also added some...

OT - Americaon Idol - Can't Resist by
ellice
OK - so I will confess, though I personally am not a junkie for much TV, DH
loves this - and Hells Kitchen (which drove me nuts). Anyhow - I just
wanted to say - this season, there really were a few quite talented people
on the show. The guy from California, Adam Lambert - who though he may...

Plaid afghan redux by
Barbara T
Time flies when we are having fun. Five years ago I read a post here
that a plaid afghan was being made. I was very interested and
inquired to the poster (Ericka K), she supplied me the details. Which
I carefully filed away awaiting inspiration.
Some time later I found I have ancestors in...

OFF TOPIC - storing dolls by
Cheryl Isaak
These are sentimental value only, but there is DD's first doll baby and a
ladybug doll (aka Ann Geddes) and one or two others.
DD is sorting her collection of dolls and stuffed animals and a few have
lots of sentimental value. The rest will go to the local thrift store for
further...

In My Hand I Hold A Ball,
White And Dimpled, And Rather Small.
Oh, How Bland It Does Appear,
This Harmless Looking Little Sphere.
By It's Size I Could Not Guess,
The Awesome Strength It Does Possess.
But Since I Fell Beneath Its Spell,
I've Wandered Through The Fires Of Hell.
