silks by BDS2pds
I am going to love working with these once again. The uses I have had for silks previously were tent stitch but using them so freeling in crewel work is going to be fun fun fun. They were rather surprising. 60 of them fit into a pretty tiny bag.

silk painting by BDS2pds
After doing several days research, closely examining the original silk paintings saved by Abby Aldrich Rockefeller in Colonial Williamsburg here, getting the floor frame ready and the silks divided, I am plying needle to the linen seedcloth today. You know how that first stitch is scary!

silks by BDS2pds
Someone , I think it was Dianne?, mentioned that working with silks will definitely get fuzzy. Now I am wondering because I have not had that problem yet and wondering if which end of the strand you pull from might aid in keeping the silk less fuzzy. Any comments from you experts? Does stranded...

Rug tapestries by BDS2pds

Where is a good place online to buy these? I drove all over here and none to be found. I need to do it online for all the Christmas projects. I sure do like JHB buttons if anyone especially knows where online to find those. Thanx!
