I'm going to working with a friend at her booth (X's and Oh's - Joanne
Gatenby), all weekend so it should be fun.

Charts Free to Good Home by
Twinsmom
Hello,
Lately I've been a rare poster but full-time lurker. In my annual New
Year's stash exploration, I've come across some charts that would love
a new home with someone who will love them, care for them and put them
to good use! First come - first served - email to: fredjoeyash at

Hanging by a thread by
Fred
Since I posted the helpful hint on feathering floss ends I've been too busy
to add the final exercise in the task of separating six strand floss into
one and two threads for stitching. I've been busy getting things around the
shop ready for winter and as a result my stock of needlework...

Request for Photos to Bobbie & Margaret by
Tia Mary
As most of you know by now, I got to meet up with several of the
ladies in the Nashua, NH/Boston, MA area earlier this month. I forgot
my camera but Margaret (who had us all at her home for the evening) and
Bobbie both had cameras and took photos. Bobbie (I think) was kind
enough to post her...

More reading by
Cheryl Isaak
Burn - Nevada Barr's latest Anna Pigeon book, very tough to read as it
touches upon the child sex trade, but another great story. I feel like I've
walked the streets of post-Katrina New Orleans.
The Stepsister Scheme and Mermaid Madness from Jim Hines. Lots of potential
in a fairytale twist world....

Plans for a VERY rainy day by
Cheryl Isaak
Finish the scarf on the ornie I'm doing for DD. The Whisper just shreds on
the fabric, so I'm punting on that and using the pompom for the top of the
Santa hat. I did end up changing the metallic totally and used a gold. Just
looks better. Just the lettering to go then and some back stitches...

Totally OT - Attention White Plains, NY by
FSUStitcher
The aunt is coming out of lurkdom to brag again. My DN, Ken, is going
to be in the world premire of "Wallenberg" opening at White Plains
Performing Arts Center on Oct. 28. According to the grapevine, he is
impressing those in charge. If anyone wants to see and hear an up and
coming actor, go see...

SOS! by
Lynoth
One of my stitchy buddies on FB has a problem - when she washed her
project the "colors ran" (she didn't say which colors, but I'm
assuming either one of the pinks or worst of all the hand-dyed fabric
she used, I can find out if needed).
For right now I told her to get it in some cold water and...

Dololly :) by
Lynoth
Just used my dololly for the first time for what it was meant for and
it worked like a charm! SOOOOO much easier than fiddling with orts and
such!
No one else even knows what one is much less why this would be
thrilling, so I thought I'd come squeak here :D

Totally OT by
Lynoth
Just posted a new blog that _I_ think is pretty darn important, and
I'd appreciate a moment of your time to check it out.
It's pretty short, and doesn't involve politics or religion.
It can be found he http://tinyurl.com/lynoth42
Thanks for your consideration!

Fred
I have been lurking for quite a while. I have a few health issues I have to
deal with that are taking up a considerable amount of my free time. Nothing
too serious but time consuming just the same. Soooo in order to give back to
the craft that I love I'd like submit a helpful hint that Stitch...
