Can PMC+ be fired in a hotpot kiln? by
Diana Curtis
If you are referring to Precious Metal Clay the answer is, I think so, check
with the folks over in rec.crafts.beads, they know for sure. If you mean
polyclay the answer is no. Polyclay (which is what we know talk about here)
cures at a much lower temp.

Need material like linoleum without twine backing by
Doc
I'm looking for some material that has the same characteristics as the

precisely sanded, readily cut with an X-acto knife etc. I would need it to
come either in approx. 1/8" sheets or be readily mixable so that you could
pour...

Clay and candle heat? by
CRFT456
Has anyone had experience with covering votive candle holders with a thin layer
of clay? Does the heat affect that much? Was also looking into making actual
clay "candles" that a tea light or votive could sit in lightly(with or without
a glass votive in between)......and was wondering if anyone...

Newbie Question by

I'm going to give polymer clay a try and bought a sample pack of Sculpy III

making beads, hearts and other solid-core...
