Any audiobooks about knitting? by khoff
Does anyone know of any books about knitting (chatty ones like The Yarn Harlot, Mason-Dixon Knitting, Knit Lit, etc.) that are available on cassette so that one could listen to them WHILE KNITTING? If I could discover any I might be able to get my library to order them. Thanks.

Callling Hesira by Shillelagh
I had a look in your album on Yarners, and think your Branching Out scarf is lovely. What yarn did you use for it? I've used that same pattern (from Knitty.com) myself on a scarf for a friend from some fine wool she gave me. Shelagh

New pictures by Shillelagh
Here are a couple of photos of another felted "balloon bag" I made last week. I love this pattern because it is so easy to knit up. The "before" pic http://tinyurl.com/q2rks The "after" pic. The colours are more true than in the "before" pic - I'm not sure why. http://tinyurl.com/lbx52

Here's that pattern I needed Butterfly for by spampot
www.ilgaleja.com/collection_summertime_wharf.html Love the site, love her designs, but the cost of the Butterfly gives me pause. I'll think about it again once I've finished the two pairs of socks I started since then!

Denys Brunton yarn by Karen, Queen of Squishies
I found the Denys Brunton yard I was looking for! I placed a bid on eBay UK that someone linked me to here. I lost that bid, but I emailed her to see if she knew where I could find some. She said she had another cone of it, we agreed on the price, and it's on it's way to me as we speak! I...

What the Cat Woman Did with the Kathmandu by Wooly
I got (most of) this yarn from Threnody a couple of months ago. I had to augment the purple with the remainder of stock from the LYS common to us both, then had to order two more balls (same dyelot even!) from an internet supplier when I ran short *again*. What the Cat Woman Did (what the...

I just found out what purl is in knitty. by ILovemyDoggie.

Felting by Bob & Carol
I am going to attempt my first felting (actually fulling) project....how much wool content does the yarn need to felt (full) properly. I've been told that's is felted when you wash the yarn before knitting and fulled when you wash the yarn after so the notations just in case I was incorrectly...
