OT-Help with photo editing program? by
lucille
I finally got around to doing something about photo editing on this not so
new computer. The included windows photo gallery doesn't do enough even for
someone as limited as I am and I discovered that my very old version of
Photoshop Elements is way outdated and won't work with Windows Vista,...

Danish Handcraft Guild Calendars--looking for pattern by
monique
Howdy,
Does anyone like these as much as I do? Each one has twelve different
photographs of cross-stitch, along with the patterns to do them. I've
managed to collect most of the floral designs I liked, but there's
another one that's eluding me. It's the 1993 calendar with bird designs

OT - food aggression in dogs by
Dianne Lewandowski
We now have two Cavaliers and adore them both. Each gets obedience
training classes every week. The older (Parker at 18 mos) got to do
some agility this past week. He loved it. Kinsey is a clumsy four
months, now, and is doing well in basic obedience.
A week ago, Parker - out of the blue -...

Anyone been to Prague? by
Anne M[_2_]
hi
I am going to Prague for ten days and will have lots of time to shop. I
won't have a car but staying in a hotel in a central location. Anyone know
of any needlework shops?. I cross stitch, do needlepoint, knit and quilt so
open to suggestions.
Any other "must-see" places you can...

OT A long hello by
Margaret St. John
Hi Everyone,
I haven't had a chance to really say hi in a while so I thought I should.
Things should be calming down now that I have completed my Master of Science
in Management. Commencement is Saturday. :) So now when I get home from work
I can actually read, stitch, watch tv, etc. I suppose that...

Q-snaps available for cost of postage by
Fran
I have a wide variety of sizes of bars, along with the connectors
available so you can make any size and shape of frame. All I ask is
the cost of the shipping box, which I'll have to buy, and the postage.
I am getting rid of them because I prefer hoops and scroll frames.
These had been requested...

Dancing in the Moonlight! by
lewmew
It's done!
Well, okay, I need to look for missed stitches still, but I am happy
dancing - I finished Midnight Dreams. And it is awesome, if I do say
so myself. Truly one of my favorite pieces - I think it may have
edged out Sapphire...

Looking for a pattern by
bailey9189
Hello-
I am new to this group. I do counted-cross stitch, needlepoint, and
knit and sew. Anyway, I found a counted cross stitch canvas at a
thrift store. It has a design printed on it but the center part is
blank so I imagine that would be filled in with stitches. I bought it
for a quarter...

Any Needlework Shows Out There? by
Tia Mary
HI Guys,
Does anyone know of any needlework shows being held in the South
East? I just came from the Celebration of Needlework site and they
don't list a show in Louisville, KY -- just the Nashua show. My
stitchin' buddy, Janet, won't have any free time to go to any shows so
if I can find...

Last stash-y gifting question by
Cheryl Isaak
What are three things you would think about in selecting a gift for another
stitcher? And explain them.....
If I'm gathering a gift for my Mom, I think about her favorite things (other
than grandchildren), finding a chart with large symbols and getting her all
the bits needed to finish it. I'll...

I have another UFO to finish. by
F.James Cripwell
A lady at our guild asked me if I would finish a UFO. Apparently, her
friend started "Waiting for the Mists to Clear", and could not do it. So
this lady tried, and also failed. Now I have it, and it should be no
problem. Jim.

glad help by

I am working on my UFO's in my off season from work this winter. One
is for a just retired gardener at a historic site. His favourite
flower is the gladiouis (spelling) or glad for short. He had even
created a species of this plant. I have the tea towel transfer of the
"Colonial Girl" watering a...
