OT - volunteering by
anne
Tennessee, my adopted state, is known for its citizenry volunteering. Following
in that tradition, I hereby volunteer to taste test Nanaimos or to wear socks
and sweaters if anyone feels the urge to knit or crochet.

Anyone seen a chart for 12 point star by
ellice
H guys,
A friend and designer I know (canvas work) is looking for a chart of a 12
pointed star. So, as I started to look around, thought I'd ask if anyone
had seen one.

Ellice...
What kind of embroidery is your Twister? I'm not big on embroidery
other than cross stitch and hardanger, but that really appeals to me.

I love that Southwest charm.
If it was done on fabric the same colour as the wall, it would look real!

More New Photos by
Donna
Lost the first post, so let's try again.
After checking out Ellice's photos, I realized it's been nearly a year
since I updated my own.
I remedied that. Check out Donna's stuff on RCTP.
Included a progress pic of Amethyst Dreams, which Ellice taught last
summer. I renamed mine to In the Midnight...

This and that by

Has anyone heard from Lula Chang? Her website hasn't been updated in awhile and
I miss her thought provoking posts.
They, the borrowers and blackholes, are back!!! This time, they have absconded
with or swallowed a little bag of beads.
Pages in my paperback copy of Erica Wilson's Embroidery...

Seasonal Rant by
Mag
I'm really sorry to post this here but I have no where else to go.
I am so lonely this time of year. I am so lonely right now.
Tomorrow I will be 60. My husband passed 6 years ago this
time. Family lives in another state. We are snowed in since
Saturday and I cannot get to church. Forgive me...

Needle Threader by
Parker
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had used a needle threader like this one
http://tinyurl.com/9p3wha
that they sell at The Stitchery.
I haven't used it and was hoping to get some feedback before purchasing
one.

New photo on RCTNP by
The Lady Gardener[_3_]
Hi all
I've made a tea cosy for an elderly friend for Christmas, and I am so
pleased with the result that I've posted a couple of Pics of it on RCTNP.
I'd be thrilled to know what others think of the colours - I have no colour
sense at all so always choose very safe neutrals.......boring - I...

Winter Solstice, another take by
jeanne-nzlstar*
what about those of us who live in the southern hemisphere?
our view of the sky is not the same as those of you up north.
Dec 21st is our summer solstice.
now the days start getting shorter, tho many long summer evenings to enjoy
still.
