Help from the US glass people, please? by
Su/Cutworks
I've been talking to the person I'm buying glass from for Mike, and we had a
chat about several things. Once we got the shoes and sealing wax thing out
of the way, the talk turned to more interesting things like finding cool
glass and frit.
They buy Moretti glass but aren't really too aware...

How does it make you feel? by
Diana Curtis
How does it make you feel, as a person, an artist, or pusher of Paua shells,
to see your contribution to the bead word used in a lovely finished piece?

OT (sorta?) It's happening again! by
Kalera Stratton
Holy cow... I did not expect TWO WEEKS in a row of this, but it's been
just like last week... orders coming in like crazy! OMG! And requests
for teaching... I am just floored. I *really* want to know what
happened... it's like something reached critical mass! I have never seen
my website so bare,...

OT-Interpreting Your Coupons by
Candace
Interpreting Your Coupons
All you need for this tutorial is a stack of (manufacturer) coupons--as many or
as little as you like.
We will start with the Anatomy of a Coupon--place a coupon in front of you, so
that the bar code is at the bottom, and you can see the segments of numbers
below the...

OT A favor by
Kandice Seeber
Hmmmm - I don't think I can even remember how exactly I came to the
newsgroup - other than that I was interested in beads and looking for places
to talk about them. That was several years ago. :) I started out like
most people - finding beads in a shop and instantly falling in love. My
first...

You know what? Crucify me, but it's true by
Dr. Sooz
We've gone to your defense, teeth bared, flames a flyin'. We've been
shocked at the accusations hurled at you by those on WC.
But it's true. You *are* a copycat. You'll copy anyone.
I may as well say it, because everyone gets mad at me anyway. You may
have original thoughts and ideas, but it...

flat round peyote stitch? by
Amber
I've been working on making a little round peyote box, and so far I've
been pleased with the results..except when it comes to making the
bottom and lid. I looked up a tutorial for even count flat round
peyote stitch, but no matter how carefully I follow it, I end up with
a round piece of peyote...

Some Databasix info by
Kalera Stratton
http://www.databasix.com/contactinfo/
Their AUP rather clearly tolerates trolling, even trolling under
multiple accounts; however, I would not hesitate to recommend emailing
them on a daily basis about this current spate of trolls, and/or
forwarding every single message to them. However, I...

OT I'm LIVID - my first negative feedback by
Kandice Seeber
Venting follows - feel free to skip if you don't want to hear my whining.
I'm breaking my own rule about not posting anything negative about a
customer. I know that. But, I'm so mad, I could spit nails. I just got my
first negative feedback on my ebay account. It's completely retaliatory...

OT - Story: My child hating reputation by
Candace
I only have one thing to say to this: *grin*
snip
I know that most of you think that I love children, but that hasn't always
been the case. A little over twenty years ago, I was told I was a child
hating B*tch, and I happily agreed with the accusers.snip

Bidders can't read by

I am amazed that people can't read a title or description for a product. A
lady just left neutral feedback without contacting me at all about how small
her beads were. 3mm is in the title and description. If you are not sure
you should email buyer if you are not statisfied with your...

OT, to gain a little insight into your creative mind by
Dr. Sooz
I know that the things I collect influence my beadwork. For instance,
the black and white vintage photos I gather compulsively make their way
into my jewelry, and other things do too. So----
*What Do YOU Collect?*
Please, keep it not-too-long....I realize for some of us, who collect
EVERYTHING...

We must have a lot of lurkers.
Can we have some to de-lurk and can the regulars sign in.
I am of course Shirley with several aka's One Madame Tassel, Queen of

Question - Bead Loom by
Dr. Sooz
I find off-loom beadweaving much more fun, and variable, and creative.
Loom-weaving isn't as flexible, IMO, creatively.
And if you're going to buy a loom, get a Larry The Loom -- that's what all my
loom-weaving pals say. They bemoan the money spent (wasted!) on any other
looms they bought before...
