framing by
kellyK
I'm always having trouble getting a nice 'frame' around flat items...I've
tried baking the item and then applying the black (or whatever) PC strip
around it, and I've also tried doing raw-to-raw. Either way, the frame
comes out lumpy/bumpy. I've seen Donna's work and it is elegant...

Protect painted models by
Neo Hawkeye
Is there any sort of varnish that I can paint over my models to protect
the paint from being scratched off. At the moment it seems to scratch
off a little to easy.
Thanks

After baking - what's the best finishing? by
lantonel
Hi,
I just started making clay beads. I made some 16mm pumpkins that are
just about ready to be baked. I think they look pretty good, but can't
help but wonder how the heck do you finish the small items with details
(leaves, stems, etc.) I see that alot of people are using different
grits of...

cooking poly clay - when is it done? by
peter
I followed the instruction and cook the clay for 15 min at 275F. When I
removed it, it is still elastic. Does that mean it's not cooked, or does it
harden after it cools down? I ended up cooking it a few more minutes until
it hardened. But I'm not quite sure if it was necessary.

New here... by
Jackie
Hello, I just found this group and joined up! I think I see some people
I know here, so that's good.
I wonder if someone can clue me about how this group works... is there
a leader or an owner? Does everybody just post willy-nilly, or are
there some rules or parameters to be followed? Any...

Barbara--clay donation by
kellyK
Barbara - the clay arrived yesterday, and the kids dug right in. One made a
lightswitch cover, another made an adorable teddybear, and one of the
seniors added to the 'red hat lady' she is making. Thanks so much for the
sampler -- you should be getting a formal thank you letter from Hope...

Old vs new 'enhanced' inkjet paper by
kellyK
I've been playing around with some epson Stylus-Pro printer paper (doing
transfers), but I've noticed in Glass-Attic that the S041062 order-number
switched 'formula' at some point. This paper I have is about 3 years old,
so I'm assuming I have the 'old' kind. Is it still 'no go' with the...
