Can PMC+ be fired in a hotpot kiln? by

If you are referring to Precious Metal Clay the answer is, I think so, check
with the folks over in rec.crafts.beads, they know for sure. If you mean
polyclay the answer is no. Polyclay (which is what we know talk about here)
cures at a much lower temp.

i'm a newbie to this awesome group and to polymer clay. i made a small
figurine of a boy sitting and reading using fimo soft (following exact
measurements) ...in the final bake my model broke into 3... 2 legs and
the torso. the pieces fit perfectly.. can i just glue them back

The next time you see a discarded microwave oven set out for trash, check to
see if it still has the glass plate inside. I've found that glass microwave
plates make the perfect working and baking surface for polymer clay.
Cake containers (the kind with a plate and a cover) can also come in handy...
