courage to ask a question. I haven`t been knitting for that long, and have
been learning as best I can from books and from my aunty. I wanted to make
myself some really warm but...

Binding off yarn at end by
Betty Ott
Hello everyone. I am new to the list, but not all that new to knitting. I
have been knitting the long scarves and have not figured out the best method
of finishing off the yarn after all stitches are bound off. The tail is
what I can't figure out how to hide/wrap up. I have been using a...

Waiting for the ferry from Vancouver to arrive this afternoon, I ended up
in a great bookstore in Sidney, Tanners. I was looking for the Felt
knitting book, that I had out from our library. I like this book so much
I want my own copy. They did not have it. Lucky me, I found another one
called...

Here is a neat easy pattern for a last minute gift. It's reversible.

Catching Up by

I have been away from the group for awhile while doing the job search thing,
so a belated happy birthday to all of those that had birthdays that I
missed -- and anniversaries too -- and get-well wishes to any of those under
the weather, it seems there's quite the variety of bugs going around...

OT----Update by
Brian D
Hi the
Okay I'm calm lmao!
The furnace guy was here by 2:30 pm...what a sweetheart. We knew the blower
motor was going and did as he instructed us last yr...wait til it breaks
then fix it! We got nearly an entire yr. out of it. So we were happy about
that. As I mentioned to him "Merry...

OT? Cold weather and Finland by
Sarah Carter
I'm off on holiday to Finland in January.
I've started franticly knitting socks and a jumper for myself. I've =
already got a scarf, and warm coat, but with rumours of the temperature =
going down to -30, I've started to panic that I'm going to freeze.
Anyone have any suggestions of other stuff I...

food coloring stains by
Anna MCM
Hi!
In the Italian cooking group a friend asks how to get rid of stains from
food coloring she used for decorate Christmas biscuits.
She got stains both on hands and on clothes.
I suggested her NOT to use lemon and vinegar on clothes, since she could
make the situation worse.
What would you...

Hi Noreen,
You sent me an email, and my fingers were quicker than my mind and I
accidentally did a 'mailwasher' to it. I've since taken you off the no no
list. Would you be a doll and resend it to me? Thanks so much.
Star love,
Norma

I have tried e-mailing you as a reply to your e-mail. If you haven't received
any from me yet, check to make sure you are don't have a filter on that keeps
you from receiving them. I received your e-mail -- wondered if 50% cotton/50%
acrylic would be ok as I have some in colors that I think you...

Source for cheap knitting board/loom for girl scout troop by
MaryJLind
Hi,
I'm looking for a source for a knitting board/loom at an affordable cost to
purchase for a girl scout troop. The girls are too young to knit or crochet on
their own, but I thought they could handle the loom method. I want them to do
a charity project.
Thanks,
Mary
