Pearl Cotton conversion chart? by Linda Wright
I just found a great freebie on Classic Stitches. However, the project calls for Anchor Pearl Cotton in Emerald Green (230), Deep Pink (87) and White (01). Does anyone know where I could find a DMC pearl cotton conversion or do I just use the same numbers as the floss? Thanks.

Thread Substitution by Jacqueline Cahoon
I'm getting ready to place an order with Nordic Needle, and I need a substitute for Au Ver A Soie's Soie de Paris. Does anyone know of one? I'm kitting up a filet lace Christmas ornament that calls for this thread. TIA Jacqueline in Carmichaels PA WIPS TNTC Remove SO2 to reply

Treasures in Needlework by Sharon Capps
Does anyone get this and can they tell me what it includes? Is it all kinds of stitching or just one kind? Does it include cross stitch or only specialty stitches? Any help appreciated. Sharon in MN

OT rcty by Gillian Murray
I did a few days back, and it was hilarious. Then the NSDMIL had a yarn question ( I told her it wasn't the right yarn, and there was insufficient, but what do I know??) So I courteously asked a question today on rcty. No response. I had checked after all the crap that went on, and it was...

So I'm heading to Seatlle for a few days in March . Mostly to hang with my cross stitch buddy. Maybe to see some sites (any suggestions?) but mostly to stitch. I don't know what section of the city she is in, but she is on California Ave. Any suggestions for LNS I should check out? We may or may...

Cheap S.E.X. today!! by Gillian Murray
DH and I went to a "Trash and Treasures" Sale this am at a nearby community center. One lady had a few charts, which I helpfully relieved her of, for 50 cents. Then at another table was a box full of crafty magazines, all for 10 cents each. I skimmed through, pulled out a lot of older mags that I...

A Poll - Needlework by Dianne Lewandowski
Please keep your answers direct, otherwise I'll be wading through this for weeks. grin The following questionnaire has to do with those who embroider - any type of embroidery (canvas, cross stitch, what have you). You own an iron and use it for your embroidery.

My wife came across a wepbage where she can get Boyd's Bears artwork. We're avid Boyd's collectors so I'm putting the link to it for all to see. We ordered all 3 prints and they look a lot better in real than they do on the web. We've not seen anything from Boyd's like these before. There supposed...
