Rubin Family Gallery by
Sharon
I love looking at the Gallery to see all the HUG quilts that have been
made, but I was just wondering why there aren't any pictures of Hugs
for 2007. Maybe they're just not completed yet??

Done! Yay! by
[email protected]
I finished the binding on the 'moon over mountain' quilt I've been
working on for AGES today. I beat my deadline of getting it on the
bed by this winter! With a little help from my friends, that is.
Rita in MA did the lovely quilting (of which she probably has better
photos). I was delighted to...

Binding Inside Angle by
joan8904 in Bellevue Nebraska
I'm drawing a complete mental blank. I know that I've done this
before on a pineapple quilt.
I need to miter the binding on an inside angle. Any tutorials
available or suggestions? My first attempts are really lumpy.

New Member Intro by
Zen_Jan
Hi All,
I just found this group and am excited to hear about what everyone's
doing. I have been a self-taught quilter/patcher/fabric manipulator
(lol) since sometime in the 70's (I hate to admit!) My passion is
color, and I love dyeing and surface design on fabric, trying new
combinations, letting...

Sewing machine table ideas by
John
Here is an idea for you who are considering converting various types
of furniture into sewing machine tables. If you go to most any home
center, they will have a number of interior plywood doors for sale
that have smooth surfaces. They are available in a number of widths,
and grades of beauty. One...

Just wanted to see how you're doing ... went to your blog and you've not
entered another post. I know it takes much more effort for you to write them
than it does for me to read them, but I'm missing your posts!!
Hope all is well with you and I hope you're healing!!

Newsgroup Trouble - On & off topic by
TerriLee in WA[_2_]
I have been sewing up a storm. 3 tops completed (yes, I know,
pictures, please, working on that). I need a bigger house, so I can
get a long arm, or even a medium one, to quilt things. The SM is just
too hard on the shoulders and hands. Sigh.
Also, been putting up the garden veggies. You don't...

Ok, so it's just a very simple "I Spy" made with 4.5 and 2.5" squares. I
also add pictures of the parents on these quilts.

My Ladies Quilt by
Kay Ahr[_2_]
Decisions, decisions!!
Last year a person I worked with gave me a chuck of fabric. She said her
brother had given it to her about 30 years ago. She finally realized she
would do nothing with it and thought I might want it.
I pre-washed them and cut them apart. I want each to have her own...

I hope I'm not bein' out of line here ... but I was wonderin' if I could put

September 11, 2001 by
Rita
I was so saddened by the event especially since I worked in the area as a
teenager just out of high school. My daughter and son in law lost many
friends there.
A story to tell you: Some firemen went up in one of the buildings and
proceeded to bring down one woman. She wanted to give up at a...

Quilt Sandwiched by
Sally Swindells
Actually taken a decent photo of the Forest Baby Quilt for the Bird
Reserve Warden's baby due in October. DH (the ornithologist) wanted me
to use 'grown-up' pictures, not cartoons, and complained that the
animals have human eyes, as it was human eyes or cartoons, the eyes won!
Hopefully...
