Happy Saturday by
hesira
Hi all,
Just wanted to pop in & say Hi. The weather here can't make up its
mind. Yesterday, warm & beautiful, today gray and chilly. That's
Spring in the Deep South. Perfect day for sitting with the second sock
of the 1st pair I've made. DH is anxious for a matched pair, so I'm
happy to...

knitting updates by
Georgia
Making progress on both NYCOs--the Most Colorful Socks in the World might be
finished by the end of the month--surely by the end of next month (when it
will hopefully be too warm to wear them). The Aran-style cardigan vest is
about halfway done, but it is the easy half--from the neck to an inch...

Thank You All SOOO Much!! by
Dee Dee
I just popped in to read ALL the responses to my post ... thank you all SO
much, you made my day. :-)
I am feeling a bit better some days, others I'm pretty tired and just want
to sleep and watch tv. I'm not really having any pain inside to speak of,
it's mostly the incision that's bugging me. ...

Gwen
I hope you all have long memories - if not you will have forgotten this pest

*really missed* you folk. I have felt totally cut off from my friends and
the world - goddness how one misses a computer.
It has been quite a...

OT - missed special days by
MRH
Sorry if I have missed special days... like birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
I have barely been peeking in over the last couple of days, so I haven't
gotten around to reading all the messages... and chances are that I won't
ever catch up completely anyway.
So, for those I have missed... Happy...

self patterning yarn by
craftydragon1951
Have any of you tried any of the self patterning yarn with crochet?
I'm thinking the self striping will work OK but the 'fair isle' will be
disappointing.

Flickr Advice by
hesira
I set up a Flickr account, but don't know how to create a link so I can
share some photos. I know it's probably really easy, but, it would be
great if someone who knows what they are doing could make it easier for
me.
Thanks!
Hesira

This is the "top" of the week! by
Aud
Now we have just one knitting lesson left!
Most of the pupils have made one hat allready, and started at nr. 2 OR
3!
One of the girls had mad a sweet hat for her little sister,
and her grandmother crocheted flowers,
which they "hanged down from the top".
I love this cooperation!
Today they all...

I finally got that vest finished and blocked - after which my DH put it
on. That was last night. He wore it all day today as well. I guess
that was a hit. I will try to get him to hold still for a picture
sometime. I was going to take a picture just of the vest last night
but then he put it on...

Glade glass air freshener ad by
Leah
I saw an ad for Glade glass air fresheners last night. While I'm
happy they showcased crochet in the ad, I also found it a little
offensive. Maybe it's just me, but I felt they were making fun of
crochet as well as their competitors' products, since the woman was
shown making a cover for the...
