Mel Gibson's New Movie by [email protected]
Here are 2 reviews I received from a relative about Mel's new movie: ***** Harvey Comments on "The Passion" by Mel Gibson . The majority of the media are complaining about this movie. Now Paul Harvey tells "The rest of the story" and David Limbaugh praises Gibson. Most people would wait and see...

sewing machine table question by Dr. Quilter
Last weekend went to see the Pfaffs and came home with a Brother NX 200. DH balked at the prices of the Pfaff I wanted (considering the lower end ones did not have the features I needed) so we bought this one with the warranty that if I want to exchange it for a Pfaff within a year I get the full...

Here is what has been occupying my time, while I plan the Double Wedding ring quilt for my nieces wedding gift. I had these few boards of cherry laying around in the basement shop and they called to me about their need to be moulded into a useful purpose; other than a stack of boards in the...

Grace under Fire by Polly Esther[_5_]
Who received the Worst Christmas present? I've received a gaggle of pin cushions. The cutsey-poo crafty kind. (groan) I don't like pin cushions, don't use them and do (a whole lot) hate useless clutter. I did an appropriate amount of ohhh! and ahhh! but it just might be that they get...

Charlotte Yde's books by Hanne Gottliebsen
Someone just posted a link to Charlotte Yde's homepage, and I went to have a look. I did see this before, but didn't notice her book page. Lo and behold, there was the Contemporary Quilts from Scandinavia, which I saw at a Quilt Festival and didn't get before someone else did (grrr). A couple of...

OT please sign your posts by Pat in Virginia
Hello! We've been having some lively conversations here lately. I do enjoy the various quilt topics, and some of the off topic as well. For me, every post would be even better if it was signed. Quite a few are not signed lately. When I send a "real" letter, I put a return address on the...
