Aloe infused yarn? by Mystified One
I saw this worsted acrylic downtown that claimed to be good for hands because of the aloe. It only came in 3 very basic colors, but I wonder if there's anything to the aloe being there, or if it's a waste of time. Anyone have opinions?

However, as the hospital is so crowded, and I have had all the ultrasounds, x-rays, round the clock breathing treatments etc., plus my new nebulizer arrived today, plus I have a retired husband to help out, the doctor released me with a handful...

OT - Pronunciation of words by MRH
Just curious, since pronunciations of other words are being discussed in another thread... Can someone from England please tell me how you, in your part of the country, pronounce the word ALUMINUM please? My late mother-in-law (from Ashford Kent) used to say A-lu-MIN-ium. She is the only person...

What would you make with Sugar'n Cream? by Laura J
I have 6 balls (720 yds) of Sugar'n Cream cotton yarn. I know it is usually used for dishcloths but that is more dishcloths than I care to make! Any ideas? Has anyone ever made a baby sweater out of it? How does it wear/wash? Thanks! LauraJ

Owl Teacosy pattern in crochet wanted by KiwiDeb
I'm new here, and am here in desperate need of help. Our family had a teacosy that was crocheted in the shape of an owl, he had two big crocheted circles for eyes, and a very textured body. To cut a long and painful story short, the cosy has been badly damaged, my parents are devastated as it was...

Just wondering, via reply posts, how many of us are still here, never left, or have returned to the fold. Jumping up and down in order to send a tidal waye to Christine from this direction, ME ME ME, I never left! Hugs, Noreen -- I am not young enough to know everything.
