[OT] Speaking of birds on the wing by Bacchae
I think it was Kathy who shared a story about a red-tailed hawk in a dream. I was reminded of that today when I was out at my horses and there were five bald eagles gliding over my head. We are a stopover for the eagles and we generally see them every spring but I don't ever recall seeing five at...

Hey guys, Mindspring hasn't been picking up any RCB messages for the last few days! Anyone else having the same problem? I'm going to send this and see if it shows up on Google, at least. Miss you guys! I hope you're all having good beady times and good health.

[OT] The Bachelorette by Bacchae
So who do you think it'll be, Matthew or Ian? I am worried that Ian rocks her world too much. Matthew is such a better long-term prospect, I think. But how can anyone resist a guy like Ian who very obviously has the moves, not that Matthew doesn't, but he just doesn't have the whiff of "Bad Boy"...

[Semi OT] Escher Sketcher by FurPaw
http://escher.epfl.ch/escher/ This web site has a tool that allows you to make escher-like sketches and other drawings with repetition and several types of symmetry. And you can save any sketches that you want to keep. It is WAY COOL! And semi-on topic, it could be used to create inspirations...

[Sorta AD] Advice please on this/these bead(s) by Bacchae
I bought some Glass Alchemy glass to specifically try and do "Dougie Pink" a boro colour combination demonstrated and named by Doug Remschneider who has a DVD/video about boro. Although it basically does what it is supposed to do I am not sure I am in love with it. I thought I would post a...

~Ad~: A couple of new focals up - Tink by Tinkster
It's been a horrible cluster headache week, so my torch time has been really minimal :-( However, when the dust settled, I was really pleased with the few things I've added to my site. I always seem to work in cool colors, like blues and violets. Not this time! Hot Hot HOT! I swear these beads...

~OT~ - I need to possibly cast something by Tinkster
I need to make a cube like this: http://snipurl.com/58ez It isn't solid, but rather a wire-form type cube. It would be 3/4" to 1" on a side. At first, I was thinking about doing it with 1/16" stainless rods, but I can't figure out how to join them. The finished box will need to withstand temps of...

~OT~ Remember the "Don't Poke Tink" incident? by Tinkster
For those of you who remember the unfortunate incident wherein an artist of some stature presumed to tell me how I should price my work, here is a gift sent to me by Karen Goodrich. I still laugh so hard my sides hurt every time I look at it. And I'm thinking I should have had it stuck to the side...
