Solding the Dragonfly lamp? by
AmazonJax
I'm making a Tiffany (Odyssey) 20" Dragonfly lamp. How to I solder the
spaces where the wings overlap? They are too far apart to bridge with
solder, and I tried to put foil there, but that became extremely
difficult. Any suggestions?

Uranium glass by
Andy Dingley
I make furniture in wood and metal. Never worked glass before.
There's a technique I'm keen to try which involves insetting "jewels"
of glass into forged ironwork. You work the iron, hot-punch a hole
into it maybe 1/2" across then fill it with a rough piece of scrap
glass. Some work with an...

nothing about working glass.
I'm designing a light fitting at the moment - a rectangular horizontal
box with a shallow "pagoda" roof above it. It's to be wall mounted
above a mirror. Construction is of foiled and soldered glass. ...
