Silicone Baking Sheets? by
Barbara Forbes-Lyons
Has anyone tried baking clay on those fancy-schmancy silicone baking sheets?
Just wondering if the items come out shiny like they do when you bake
directly on metal or glass.

Pearlex question by
[email protected]
I recently made some black textured beads with pearlex powder rubbed
on the surface. As far as I can tell, the powder hasn't rubbed off
after baking, but is it necessary to seal the surface for long term
wear? I'd prefer to avoid it if possible, since it wouldn't work well
with these beads.

OT-seattle visit? by
Deb Hayes
Please excuse the cross-postings; Sweet George and I will be making our
annual pilgrimage to Seattle next week (Th-Sun) for the coffeefest trade
show, and I was wondering if there was anything clay-related that might be
going on. We have classes during some of the fest, but we will be able...

Froggie Beads by
Diana Curtis
In the polymer clay album at the url below I have a few new froggie beads to
share. Two are a style requested by Candace, those would be the leaf hoppers
in orange. Next, I need to modify the leaf itself and then put a frog facing
the stem end.
I think they would look pretty nice on lentils, too,...

swirled Lentils ala Desiree by
Diana Curtis
After following Desiree's tutorial I made lentils. It took some
experimenting to get them to swirl but eventually I got the knack. If you
have a chance please take a look in the clay folder.

Thanks... I think Dawn has to take the blame for this one....

Flecto Varathane by
Fenrir Enterprises
Considering the confusion on whether the Rustoleum (or Rust Oleum -
added for Google searches) Varathane is the same as the Flecto, I
bought a few gallons of the Flecto brand 'just in case'. If anyone
wants to buy any, whether to test it out (remember: once it's gone
we'll all have to be using the...
