What's your opinion? by
hesira
Ok. I have hand washed DH's new socks so many times, that I am ready
to throw them in the washer. They are 100% merino wool and I know that
felting is a potential problem. Here's the deal: I have a front
loading washer that is very gentle on clothes. I've looked around on
the net and found...

Wooly: Thanks! by
Threnody
Wooly, I lost the post in which you answered my question about Koigu PPPM.
The link you provided to wiseneedle.com was helpful, as was your personal
review and experience with various yarns for the purposes of sock making. I
appreciate the time you took to respond. You're very kind.

ATTN: Caro RE Hot Wheels chart by
Leah
Hi Caro,
I had a few minutes this morning and opened up my charting software
and played with the Hot Wheels logo.
The best image I could come up with is a rather large knit chart.
You'll need to use fingering weight yarn and get a gauge of 8 stitches
and 10 rows per inch (which is what I get...

Ugly things by
YarnWright
What, in your OWN opinion was the ugliest thing you've ever knitted or
crocheted?
Did others think it ugly as well, or was it just 'you'?
Have you ever made another 'like' it, because it kind of/sort of "grew" on
you?

To Eimear and Nora
My March threads arrived today - and very pretty they are! Don't you just
love Patons Classic Wool? I hope they never discontinue it.
Thanks too for the postcard of Duncan - it looks gorgeous, and how lucky are
you to live by the lake!!

Ugly things by
YarnWright
I really had to think about this, then remembered that EVERYTHING I've ever
made is in my journals, so I did a quick scan over the almost 42 years I've
been at it, and the ugliest thing I ever knitted was:
My first socks, done at age 11, and I still have them! They were ice-skating
socks.......

Knitting w/ cotton by
dawn
I am starting to knit the sweater on the front cover of Creative
Knitting Magazine. (May 2006) It is mindless knitting. I just finished
an Aran afghan and am quite reading to knit simply. Some time ago I
knitted wtih cotton and carried a filament along with the yarn. I am
using Fantasy...

I'm new here and I would like to ask a question. A customer gave one of
my cashiers a crocheted earster with a chick inside. Do anyone have a

Dec 6x6 received from Laura by
Liz
I received 3 lovely squares from Laura in cream wool, beautifully made and a
lovely textured yarn, it looks like an Aran/fisherman's wool, also some
stitch markers and stoppers for needles (not sure what they're called, but
they keep the stitches on the needles, lol!) I am always finding my...

Lana Grossa Caldo #66 Yarn by
Padishar Creel
I am interested in the above yarn but for the life of me I can't seem
to order it from yarn market. They feature this yarn on their Caldo
page with no way (or at least no way I can find to do it). Anyway,
have any of you had experience with this yarn? I am looking for an all
wool (maybe a blend...
