Help! I need ideas! by
Joan Erickson
I want to do a design with the words "The road to Hell is paved with
good intentions." The wording itself won't be a problem. Anyone got
any ideas for something to surround this saying? It's for a
college-aged male--someone to whom I gave a really hard time this summer
so I told him I'd stitch...

OT Thief in Paris by
[email protected]
A thief in Paris planned to steal some paintings from the Louvre.
After careful planning, he got past security, stole the paintings and
made it safely to his van.
However, he was captured only two blocks away when his van ran out of
gas.
When asked how he could mastermind such a crime and then...

OT-or maybe on ?? by
Lucille[_3_]
Since this has to do with a thimble, maybe it's actually on topic
One day, when a seamstress was sewing while sitting close to a
river, her thimble fell into the river. When she cried out, the
Lord appeared and asked, "My dear child, why are you crying?"
She replied her thimble had fallen into...

LNS/ONS Question by
Becky A
Has anybody ever dealt with ZeAnn's Needle Arts of West Valley City,
Utah? I'm looking to purchase some things from them, and was wondering
if anybody had anything to say about this shop.
Thanks in advance, y'all. Sorry I've been so quiet lately, but real
life has been busy.

alicia in Hawaii
Hi everyone,
A companion to the hot iron transfer tutorial...
It is a 'tinting fabric with crayon tutorial'. I've had several
questions emailed to me about the process
and thought that it would be a good 'separate' post.
I wrote about it here and left references and...

I found a great buy for fifty cents at our local thrift store today. They
have a bin where you can pick up odd balls of wool or craft stuff that
people have donated. I bought a round tablecloth that had a stamped cross
stitch design and the design is called Blue Phlox. Someone had completed...

OT Sorry guys !!! SSW by
Gillian Murray
There was a tradesman, a painter called Wayne, who was very interested in
making a penny where he could, so he often would thin down paint to make it
go a wee bit further. As it happened, he got away with this for some time,
but eventually the Baptist Church decided to do a big restoration job on...

One project started by
Pirjo Ilvesvuori
Hi everyone!
I believe that you know that the "Three Yellow Roses" is a
FO. Now I begun another project. It is called "Two Little
Roses". Those names are not official, they are self-made.
But they tell about the projects, that is what I'd like to
believe.

http://www.mallettantiques.com/textiles/textiles-needlework.asp and I
have to wonder if some of these works...

[email protected]
I am just finishing a Lavender and Lace Angel and would like to know
when attaching the beads to a project should you use a thread close to
the cloth or to the bead? Or a beading invisable thread (that aren't
really invisable).
Thanks
