Janome sewing machines by Judy
A friend of mine asked me about a Janome sewing machine. He wants it for mending and learning to sew and he found one for a great price. I don't know anything about the brand. Can anyone help? This is a page from their website with the machine. It is the JS1008. Judy

Go to Michaels this week, buy one item. You'll get a 20% off the total coupon to use next week. Wish I'd known that before I checked out, because a lot of what I bought today really could have waited till I got the discount. -- Karen C - California Editor/Proofreader...

My Favorite Needle by Bev72
Has any one any idea if "My Favorite Needle" is available. I know the company went out of business but there may be some lying around in a shop somewhere. I would appreciate any information out there.

ISO Old Friends chart by Karen C - California
Several years ago, when I re-located a childhood friend, I found a fridge magnet with a saying to the effect that "true friends can meet years later and pick up right where they left off". I have just re-located another old friend. Does anyone know of a chart with a similar sentiment? -- Karen C...

Does that name ring a bell with anyone? I'm sure I remember her as one of the regulars here on RCTN awhile back. There is a nice article about her and her stitching in this weeks Nordic Needle newsletter. If you're still reading Rose, congratulations! Mavia
