New jewellery magazine in UK by
Shirley Shone
I picked up the first issue of a new UK magazine called "Making
Jewellery"
It is mainly for sheet metal and wire projects.
I think you would need a dedicated work bench to make a lot of the
things.
Not like sitting in a recliner with a tray of beads on your lap.
I think it will be a case of me...

Big Beads by
[email protected]
What do you do when you get a bead that's humongous? Let's see.
Maybe use it as a pendant on a long necklace so you can use it as a
weapon in an emergency. Use it as a fan pull as long as it's not a
head-klunking level. Hey, use it as a purse charm for a carriage bag
(one of those huge purses). ...

magazine question by
[email protected]
We've moved to a MUCH SMALLER place, so I'm redoing
and re-thinking my studio. I think some of my magazines
have to go. :-( So........I've got "Bead & Button" and
"Beadwork," and I'm this close to just taking them all to
Goodwill. So I'm asking, is there any "market" for these
mags? For...

No eBay Fees by
[email protected]
I guess I'd better get my rear in gear and list some things. There
are no eBay fees, April 1 - 14.
I'm pretty nervous about it, but I guess now is the time to give it a
try,
Tina

Storm by
[email protected]
I've been beading up a storm. I have too many beads, but eBay still
tempts me.
About a month ago I heard something on the radio about how dopamine
makes Alzheimer patients more susceptible to gambling addiction.
Since I have Depression which also involves lack of pleasant brain
chemicals, it made...

snap-tite or snap set settings..... by
Band Mommy
I usually order mine from Fire Mountain Gems or WigJig. I believe both
sites carry them in sterling and gold, an several different sizes too.
They work wonderfully for setting stones and cabs.

Shamless Plug: In April issue of B&B mag by
[email protected]
Hi,
I don't write very many articles, because I'd rather be creating. I
have an article "Coloring Outside The Fireline" in the April 2009
issue (coming out immediately) of Bead & Button magazine, pages 18 &
19.
We have such a wonderful choice of colors in the bead threads, now you
can have them...

colour decissions by
melinda[_2_]
Having a little trouble deciding on what would look good
with some Swarovski crystals I bought yesterday, both
bicones 4mm Light Siam and 3mm Black Diamond.
Thinking just a single drop for earrings, on silver.
I don't mind suggestions that involve buying more beads :-)...

AD: New Product, etched copper and brass for making beads, etc. by
[email protected]
I started an Etsy shop to see if there are people who want
professionally photo etched copper and brass sheet. They can be cut
with scissors, jeweler's saw, disc cutter, etc., to make your own
pendants, earrings, decorate boxes, greeting cards, etc.

Wow, an actual post about beading!!
Very nice, Karleen! I'm sorry about not being able to finish your watch.
That looks so pretty.
