Actually, he's really not complaining, he's as bad as I am tearing into packages, especially when I wasn't expecting one.
BTW, he said to tell you ALL...

Back from Italy and India by
JudyTurpin
HI -- You have all been busy. I frankly couldn't imagine working through all
those messages so after checking on Mirjam (I heard about the bombing in Haifa
while I was gone), I marked the rest read and will start anew. I got back this
noon but there is a 12 hour time change from India to Seattle...

OT - my e-mail box by
Anna MCM
I just discovered that the fake Microsoft patch flooding began again
:-(((
I got 8 such messages in 5 minutes :-(((
My provider filtered them for a week, then people started complaining
about the impossibility of sending .exe attachments (all of them got
filtered) and so the flooding is back... and...

Thanks for sharing your pictures, Myka. Your first knit project looks
wonderful. What pattern is it? What yarn did you use? And who is the
lovely lady?

Hi there! by
AlenasMom
I just found this newsgroup today!
I'm an avid crocheter (Is this the right word?), and my best friend is a
really good knitter!
I'm starting to knit granny squares so that I can make a quilt for my baby.
I'm going to quilt the squares for my daughter.
Does anyone know of a good, quick, fairly easy...

Needlemaster Set by
Shirley Luton
Good morning,
Elsewhere on the list there's a post about a set of Boyes Needlemaster
needles for sale. I'm just wondering if I could get some information these.
(I think they are what my daughter has been hinting about for Christmas).
The way she described it was a set of circular loops of...

Dragging things out of the closet by
Myka KS
I've been debating over whether or not to share this with you-all. . . But
after Els said that there may be more of you out here able to help me and
sheer me on, I thought, "why not?" My increasing obsession with yarn has
led, as it inevitably does, to a desire to learn to spin. Especially...

Ivory Snow, Dreft... by
arlene
Noreen's Knit*che wrote:
While shopping I noticed that BOTH Ivory Snow and Dreft are now called
DETERGENTS, rather than SOAP.
I 'used' to be able to get Ivory Flakes, which WAS an actual SOAP....
don't they make it any more?
I need a mild soap for washing wool.
Any ideas?

that you knit ANYWHERE! I am surprised to find out that you haven't knitted
at your driving school.

Knitting happened by
Pirjo Ilvesvuori
One certain blankie needs 15 squares. Each square has 60
stitches and 60 rows. I have already made 1 pink one and 3
finished white ones. The white one nr. 4 is on needles. I
knitted like crazy last night and today. Had to rest a while
and do other things, but then I went on knitting, and soon

Vs: Vs: Pirjo by
NoraBalcer
Hi Pirjo,
Wel, at least I'll only have to wear the patch for 24 hours, but Monday I won't
be able to wear my glasses at all so the left eye will have to do all the work
for both.
Hugs,
Auntie Nora
