ICS kiln manual by ringtail
Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum and I was wondering if anyone could help me find a manual and/or parts for my kiln. I was given a small octogon kiln several years ago and am just now in a place where I can fire it. It works, but there is a knob missing that controls high, low, etc. I would...

slow cooling with digital electric kiln by Mel[_2_]
I have a new Paragon Electric Kiln with a digital controler. I program it for cone #5 with a 10 minute hold for my glazing. What slower cooling rate than the normal cool down should I use to allow crystal glazes to work and help keep Greenware from cracking?

skutt 1227 by stan
Hi, all. I recently aquired a skutt 1227, but it is 3-phase 208 at 31 Amps. For those who don't know, 3-phase is 208 volt times 3, and the skutt 1227 has 3 sections, so each section could draw 31 amps. Naturally, I am in a residential area, so I only have access to single- phase 230 volt at...

You are thinking well. The yog. cups should work tho the clay will not dry on the plastic side so putting clay inside is best. On the outside you'd have to remove the clay fast. Rox
