project report. by
Spike Driver
I have been baking caps and scarves for the Mission in Rockford,
Illinois. I should take Noreen's advice and keep a journal of what I
make. I made many.
I made 6 prayer shawls for the anniversary of the shooting at Northern
Illinois University last year at Valentine's day. I enjoyed making...

Socks by
Juno B
Hi all,
I'm back to tell you that my friend came over on Monday and got me
started on 4 needle socks. She had taken me shopping for new yarn and
larger needles first. Once she showed me how to get going, everything
fell into place. She said she thought the woman in the yarn shop steered
me wrong...

It's always a great day, don't you think, when you find out that the

ophthalmologic conditions, either of which would cause you to go blind,
was dead wrong? WHOOHOO!!!!!!!! (I...

Sock Yarn Sale by
Spike Driver
http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?CATID=cat2948&PRODID=xprd687579
The yarn above is the last sock yarn I used. I worked up great! It
wears well and is washable. Let me know if you like it. At $4.00 a
skein we can afford to make socks again.

Looking for help with crochet pattern by
Linda Lee
This was posted in my 'webtv only' craft group and no one has been able
to help. The person is crocheting a house slipper using the dmensions
of her closed fist to make the pattern. Does anyone know how it is
done?
Any help is greatly appreciated and I will be sure to tell her where it
came from....

Kitty cat hats by
Linda D.
Hi everyone,
I just wondered if anyone knows of a site that has a free Kitty Cat
Hat pattern for a child? It was a style of hat very popular for
little girls back in the 50's and 60's, and seems to have resurfaced
again. I've done a search and only come up with with variations on
the hat like...

Has anybody priced cat toys and accessories recently? I'm giving a
home to a lovely cat very soon, and went shopping for some basics, and
was stunned at how expensive the wee little yarn toys are these days!
So I came home, got out a sack of miscellaneous balls of leftover
yarns, and made several....
