Squishies are the best by
Sunny
The day after Christmas is sometimes a bit of a letdown. So imagine how
surprised and happy I was to get a wonderful squishie in the mail
today! I have sent private thanks to the sender. Fun things in a cute
envelope. I just love surprises, and fabric surprises are the best.

Starting in January I will have a free block of the month on my website.

a beginner block of the month so those new to quilting will be
successful and the experienced quilters will have a quick and easy

PP help please by
Boca Jan
I have a question for all you pp aficionados out there. I am a neophyte and
I thought pp was an answer to many of my dilemas, however I tried to pp a
piece with a curved line and guess what, the curve turned out wonky! Can a
curve be pp or only straight lines?

my design for our guild challenge by

I spent about 6 straight hours saturday designing my quilt for our
guild challenge "Sunshine and Sunflowers". I positively LOVE this
design, and I'm also thrilled with how I ended up converting this
portrait for hand applique. Maybe this posting will save someone else
some time doing applique...

I had been wanting for my very own, a copy of Quiltmaker #41 from 1995 since
I first saw the tessellating kitty quilt. There were pictures of the quilt
elsewhere and dear friends had sent me copies of the pattern but I just had
not been able to get my head wrapped around exactly how it went...

Scrappy September Mystery Quilt by

Finally took a picture of the finished top. Tomorrow I put the layers
together. And when will I do the dreaded quilting . . . . .? The
binding will be scrappy too -- the greens.
I'd like it all finished by the time school starts on January 8.
