Who just recently showed a lovely Celtic bookmark? I bought one as a kit when I as in Canada, and stupidly gave it away to a "stitchy friend". Still a friend, not close, but she is over her depth with kits. ANYWAY...I would love a source for those. I am lazy. However I loved doing the marriage...

Fractal 53 happy dance by Nancy
I finished page 2 yesterday!!!!!!! I'll try to get a picture up on rctnp if the thunderstorms hold off. Now for a break. I'm thinking of a "Feed the birds" bookmark I found last summer when we were looking for bookmarks to work on or that Xmas ornament from last year's JCS

Leaving Town, Taking Stitching by Donna
We're heading north to New Hampshire this weekend and I've packed my stitching bag. Last load of laundry in the dryer right now and I'll be packing my clothes soon, before the temperature starts to rise here making movement on second floor very uncomfortable. I've got some needlepoint for the car...

another for the groaners.... by Susan Hartman[_2_]
As I've mentioned, DH and I are job hunting, so we're spending a lot of time online reading job listings. One that really made me laugh was for a debt collection agency position. Among the qualifications, they listed: "must be an energetic and goad-oriented individual." Freudian slip, you...

Time to rotate by Cheryl Isaak
Well, as much as I'm enjoying my Ladybug and Bumblebees, I think its time to rotate. So, I'm either gone to return to to the baby dragons or drag out the basket of messy stuff and see if there is something I can sort out there. Cheryl

RCTNP by Sharon
Why can't I get into RCTNP? It says I'm signed in as - that's my email, but it won't let me see anyone's pictures. If I click on 'my groups', it says there is no group membership for my email address. Huh? Sharon (N.B.)

A little off topic brag by Cheryl Isaak
Well, DD loves to color.. So, when she entered a local chocolate company's color contest, I wasn't surprised. However, I was very surprised to get the email that she won a $25 gift cert. We're going tomorrow to the "Luau" to get her chocolates.... Cheryl

Sigh, have to change a color by Cheryl Isaak
Well, I've been working away at my "ladybugs and Bumblebees" have reached a stumbling block. The color, Crescent Colors Country Lane, is very nearly the same shade as my fabric - ?? Pearled Barley. So, do I just toss floss at it until I find something that works for me??? Cheryl R,d,h

I was browsing Hoffman's June listing and saw two new designs by Terrance Nolan. They are really nice flower designs and look to be a new direction for him. I'm going to have to find who's got them. Like as though I need more patterns..... :) Fran

99% OT - what's been going on... by Cheryl Isaak
Well, Senior Week and HS graduation have been and gone. I really didn't see much of DS all week. He's been traveling with his pack of male buddies and one of them has a house that seems to accommodate large numbers; that poor mother. Nightly "sleepovers" and feeds them too. I feed 3 of them along...

OT-Reading Materials by Lucille
I just got my new Kindle and now I have to add a book. Since this is a virgin, I want that book to be a really good read. Not the great American novel, just something entertaining. I love mysteries and contemporary novels. Pretty much anything but Harlequin Romance. Any suggestions?
