Y Seams by
Mika
Can anyone here please tell me if there is a painless way to sew Y seams? I
have just finished a quilt top for my grandson who is due in about 4 weeks.
I used a 9 inch square for the center then put 2 1/2 in wide strips on each
side. I cut the ends of the strips at an angle to make it look like...

Still wondering (sorta OT) by
Ginger in CA
Went to Bakersfield today and met up with Butterfly to go to the show
there. We had a grand old time! Nice small show and many vendors I
hadn't seen before. And, wouldn't you know, that lady taught me to
crochet today, also. I am tickled pink about that!
Now, still wondering just who this...

Most times... by
Mary
Which comes first....the pattern or the fabric? The baby quilt was the
pattern and the card trick blocks I started cutting last night was the
fabric.

OT girlfriends by

Girlfriends
A young wife sat on a porch in Waycross, Georgia on a summer day,
drinking iced tea and visiting with her Mother. As they talked about
life, about marriage, about the responsibilities and the obligations
of adulthood, the mother clinked the ice cubes in her glass
thoughtfully and...

If you get a chance, please look at the first pic (four-blocks) in the WIP
folder of my webshots page. Aside from all the matching (what was I thinking
of????), there is the even more vexing problem of pressing. There are SO
MANY layers at those points!! Any suggestions about pressing would...

My friend, Ellen Jones, over at Smalltown, received a check the other

What I want to know is, in your...

crib quilt and hope to sandwich and finish it soon. I'm also working on a

Question about lopsided log cabin by
Quil
Hello All,
I want to make my log cabin "logs" different widths, so my question is, does
the, let's say, third log in both the dark side and the light side of the
log cabin have to be the same width?

Help. I don't know what to do for my little guy. He's a four year

Thanks so much for all the suggestions. I have been stuck on this baby quilt

Has this happened to you? Love the fabric, put the thing together, and just
can't relate to it? Maybe I need to live with it for a while, but at the
moment, it looks like a stranger came in and sat down. It's the first photo
in the WIP album...
