Gakked from Donna: Stitching question and conversation starter by [email protected]
Over on Donna's blog, she has been talking about an article in the most recent EGA magazine. Near the end, she said this: "Lastly, a question. How old when you when you started stitching? I think a majority of us tell of some experience in our youth that made us familiar with it when we were...

Is it time for ..... by Cheryl Isaak
Drum roll please What are you stitching? I'm stuck on letter I for the baby dragon alphabet. So, I'm making great progress toward finishing Cheryl's Bouquet. I've told myself when I finish with the "bottom right" page, it's back to the alphabet.

How about another stitch-a-long everyone? by Cheryl Isaak
While I'd love to try another new type of stitching, until life settles down again (or I hit my stride again), I can concentrate on cross stitching and a book, but learning something new will have to wait a bit. SO - I want ideas. I'd like to use a free chart from somewhere we can all access it....

Happy dancing into a frenzy....(it was providential) by Susan Hartman
Remember how I just said I'd come to peace with not rushing my "And a Forest Grew" and decided to forgo this year's state fair and wait until next year? I was doing a normal Happy Dance because I finished it on Friday night and left it at the LNS on Saturday night. Well, imagine my surprise...

OFF TOPIC silliness by Cheryl Isaak
The local "newspaper" came out yesterday. You know the type, who is running for town council, local news and the police and fire blotters.... From yesterday's Londonderry Times blotter page "caller complained that a woman in a bikini was standing on RT 102 and distracting to traffic"

a needlework 'never' by Kalmia
I had to learn the hard way. I had a piece of finished needlepoint at my desk, doing some frame measuring, and, long story, I got some ink from a gel pen on it. On the white part of course. So, now gotta tear it out, try to get the ink off the canvas with mild diluted shampoo, restitch or...

Spiral-eyed needles - test results by Fran
As promised, here's my analysis: I ordered the #8 sewing needle and the #26 Tapestry needle The #8 sewing needle is a larger sewing needle than I like to use (I prefer #10's), but still works ok for general sewing and some of the larger (14 or 16 count) monocanvas pieces. I also tried it on...

OT-A Bad Pun for youknowwho by Lucille
Don't blame me-I just copy them from someone else Native Math ..There were three pregnant Indian squaws laying on animal hides about to give birth. The first squaw, who was laying on a buffalo hide, gave birth to a 6 lb., 5 oz. baby boy.

This time it is Dimensions Gold Collection Millenium Angel. A sort of long story. My son used our cottage for an office party, and one of the ladies saw my handiwork hanging on the walls. Somehow my son said that I finished off projects for other people, and now I have the latest. She has done...
