Crescent Colors Conversion needed. by
Gillian Murray
I just got back from my LNS. She was asking me if I knew of any
conversion from Crescent Colors to anything else. Some of her customers
had asked for one.
She figured that if anyone would know of one, it is probably
me....................she knows how much time I twiddle away here.
Otherwise...

Hello everyone
I am SO close to completing my collection of Lilliput Lane patterns!
SO close!
All I am missing right now is the backstitching instrucitons to the
LL209 pattern Burley Street Garage.
This was published as a kit by Anchor some time ago and is now OOP.
It was also published in the...

OT - New Toy by
ellice
So, we got a new toy. After my everyday printer stopped working about 2
months ago, and my many attempts to clean the heads, finally coming down to
we'll have to take the machine apart (have instructions) and try to clean
the tiny tubes with a syringe and solution, and then hope....we gave...

Nice visit by
Cheryl Isaak
DD and I had tea and a visit with Bobbie and her house full. DD got to hold
the baby and played with the toddler.
I'm off to play with a stash of prom and wedding gown cuts. I've grown more
and more tempted by crazy quilting and may just have to try my hand at it.

Thanx Linda by
Gillian Murray
I emailed the link to Carolyn at the shop. If any more come in, I can
send them to.
She also liked Ellice's idea of pink hairdressing tape, so sent that on
to her, too.

What I hate about school vacation by
Cheryl Isaak
I had a nice little schedule down - house work type stuff until 11 - watch "
The Price is Right" and stitch, have lunch, finish the need to be done today
chores and then stitch to "Bizarre Foods" other such escapist dreck until
the school buses started rolling home...
Now - while I do get to sleep...

Need help from Florida Gator fan by
Alan Duke[_2_]
I need some help from a Florida Gator fan in choosing DMC thread colors
for a project that will approximate the school colors. My guess is 970
and 796, but someone with a sample of school colors will be better able
to do this. Thanks, Rachel in Scottsdale

OT vacation with a dumpster by
Dawne Peterson
Cheryl is busy out in the yard. For the next week, I am going to be busy in
the house. I have taken a week off, and rented a dumpster, and DD and I
will be hauling out broken down furniture, moldy stuff from under the crawl
space, and anything else we decide needs to go. My house has been...

What a sampler! by
Susan Hartman
I was time-wastin' for a few minutes today and stumbled over this
wonderful old sampler. Check out the third photo down on the right-hand
side of the page:

OT Yards and cubic yards by
Cheryl Isaak
Well, I spent a little bit of time stitching yesterday, but mostly I spent
the day in the garden getting ready for about 4-5 yards of mulch. Which I'll
have delivered. The big bed is approximately 100 feet long and varies from
10 to 20 feet wide with paths intersecting it in a number of spots. I...

OT - nice day yesterday by
Cheryl Isaak
Did a "get in shape" walk with DD around the HS track, gardened, grilled
dinner and even got about 10 stitches done after having to frog the dragon's
tail (I was a row off and it mattered).
Hope to repeat it again today with a little more stitching.

VOT. When penguins die. by
Gillian Murray
Did you ever wonder why there are no dead penguins on the ice in
Antarctica - where do they go?
Wonder no more.
It is a known fact that the penguin is a very ritualistic bird which
lives an extremely ordered and complex life.
The penguin is very committed to its family and will mate for life, as...

What should I charge? by
Sandy Bell
I have been asked by a friend to finish a piece of counted cross
stitch her mother started but can't finish because of her eyes. It is
Teresa Wentzler's Peacock Tapestry done on linen. I only have to
finish the border and was willing to do it for nothing (the work that
has been done already is...
