For the Canadians, especially if they live in Nova Scotia by
Cheryl Isaak
I've been haunting The Needlework Show site looking for updates.
This designer (designers?) is out of one my favorite places in the world
http://applecrossstitchdesigns.com/
I might have to get my mother the Peggy's Cove lighthouse chart and I want
(don't need, just want) the Provincial Flowers...

Went for a ride today with my neighbor- to
http://contoocookneedleworkgallery.com/aboutus.cfm
To get the Rainbow Gallery I needed to do the canvas work SAL. And got a few
more things...
And it turns out she remembers Gillian visits and used to lurk here. Talk
about a mini reunion. It was well...

Urgent Help needed!! by
Gillian Murray
OK, guys and gals,
I have dome to the well of all stitching knowledge.
I have been trying to find a font that will go well with the Hinzeit
NAVY chart, so that I could personalize it for DS's retirement on the
24th. I have not had any luck, the words are to long etc.
So, to plan 2. I will...

OFF TOPIC by
Cheryl Isaak
Well, it's been a busy day and gratefully, I don't have to leave the house
again.
First, DD outgrew her most recent "nice top", in a record 6 weeks. And all
her bottoms now have holes in the knees. And well, no "nicer" shoes. And we
are expected at my folks for family dinner at a nice restaurant...

Went to Stitching Retreat by
Magic Mood Jeep
This past weekend an internet group I participate in had a "retreat" not
too far from where I live. There were 22 women in attendance, and we
rented out the main 'cabin' at a church camp. The lone male in attendance
only made an appearance when called upon, as he lived in a house on the...

Very OT, for the gardeners. by
Gillian Murray
Jim found this site and sent it to me. I had to buy a can of soup, since
I had none in the house LOL. It is a similar concept to Sheena's rice
thing, but Campbells gives free seeds to community and 4H gardens as
well as to me.

What to do with Stash by
MargW
I've been going through my stash and listing everything I can. (I've
been working on it for about two weeks off and on, and I still have at
least a week of two to go. I also spent some time last week making a
list of about 30 books donated to our Guild by the husband of a deceased
member. ...

OT a little prayer please... by
Dawne Peterson
for my DD, whose silly big dog swallowed some ibuprofen gel caps and has
been touch and go since Thursday. A little prayer for dog Remy too. He is

stitching chair story by
Amber
A funny little story:
I have two chairs at home, and they both fill up space, so next week
I'm going to throw one of them out to 'big garbage day'. They both
have their advantages and I tried them side by side but the deciding
vote came to...
the one easier to stitch in, hehe.

Anyone looking at the Needlework Show? by

I've had a quick go through. Nothing has said "BUY ME" (might be for the
best).
Honestly, some of the pages look like the same old stuff.

Had tea with Bobbie yesterday by
Cheryl Isaak
Saw the finished Noah's Ark and other completed works. Got a ladybug
counting pin for my birthday (early) and gave Bobbie her birthday gift
(late, very late). A paper of vintage ladybug pins and a bone thread winder.

conversion charts by
[email protected]
Hi there! I'm looking for conversion charts for VA and Trebla/Duchess
threads to Anchor/DMC. Preferably DMC. I've looked round the net and
found a Duchess conversion chart for sale on a website, but it would
cost me £7. There must be something else out there!

OT - dumb dumb dumb dumb by
anne
For years, I used a software program to do my taxes. That stopped when I got a
letter from the IRS telling me I owed a lot of money! I quickly found an
accountant who figured out that I hadn't reported some investment income but
that I didn't owe as much as the IRS said I did. This year, things...

You know who you are - a punny by
Cheryl Isaak
A lady opened her refrigerator and saw a rabbit sitting on one of the
shelves.
"What are you doing in there?" She asked.
The rabbit replied:
"This is a Westinghouse, isn't it?",

I've been browsing - saw more this time to like than the last.
However, I am stuck on the Funk & Weber puzzle - anyone want to help?
two syllable words that rhyme to answer the clues:
Example: Scary streaks in the sky - Frightening Lightning

What have you lost lately? by
anne
In addition to not so little bits of my brain, I can't find a container of drop
crystals that I wanted to use for a tassel. After I went through all my drawers
not once, not twice but three times, the purple threads that I thought were
gone for good turned up under a beading tray on my work...
