this site is still around? I have spent the afternoon doing a little
enabling. A friend, who has not stitched for 16 years, thought she might

Vinatge preworked Elsa Williams botanical canvases by
Minervapearl
Hello! About a year ago, someone put a set of vintage Elsa Williams
preworked floral needlepoint canvases on ebay. They were stitched in
Madeira and were meant to be a rug. To say the least, they were
beautiful! I am trying to find the winner of that auction, a
duplicate set of the canvases, or...

DH!!! by
Pat Porter
Can anyone explain to me why, whenever DH has been on the computer I can`t
open up the threads? I have to reboot to get it to behave normally! It
NEVER happens to me, and I just can`t think what he does to cause it, It`s
darned annoying though.

Armed Forces insignia charts by
Judith Truly
In the past I've seen an interest in these charts.
I've put a book of them (charted for cross stitch, needlepoint AND
latchhook) on e-bay.
search for item #8100325588.
I think I listed it under the wrong category.

Stitching Gadgets by
Suzanne
I've been windowshopping online, and I have a few questions about
different stitching gadgets I've seen. Since I'm on a rather limited
budget, I'd appreciate some opinions before purchasing them (even the
inexpensive ones).

Pattern for Her Majesty???? by
Dawne Peterson
I was wondering if anyone had finished, and so could part with, the chart
that was released for the Queen's Jubilee that showed her as if drawn by a
child. I loved the hairstyle. I would be willing to cover postage or swap
for something.

Thanks!! by
Gillian Murray
Just a "thank you" to all of your input regarding cataracts. I have
downloaded the info about the "hinged" lenses, but Idon't see my Doctor's
name on the list. I am leanng towards doing as Lucille has. Have the eyes
adjusted so I can use close-up without glasses, then get prescription for
distance....

The Firehouse Angel Moves On by
Carolyn Wagner
I went to the post office today and sent the Angel on to Heather in New
York. I wasn't able to do as much as I would have liked (my 76-year-old
mother had a seizure and was just discharged from the hospital), but she
sure was nice to have a part in.
Diane, I don't have a scanner, so either I can...
