I sometimes plait very fine enamelled wire together for awkward bits of signal ribbon connector that have to flex at a hinge or similar, but have only used 3 way plaiting, which does not retain a flat aspect well. Dividing the total number of wires into 3 or so and then plaiting. I recently...

Hello all! I am looking to cast a prop for the band I work for: it's an oversized microphone made of papier mache. Basically a pinata that can be smashed to bits by our singer. I know how to make the original positive and plaster mold, but I am wondering if there is a way to cast papier mache into...

gravestone saddle wire? by Marlene Mosher
Hi, I'm in Canada and I'm trying to find a supplier for the wire that is used to make gravestone saddles. I've been searching but have only come up with American suppliers. By the time I pay exchange and shipping it wouldn't be cost effective. I just paid $5.00 for one at a grocery store. I was...

I need a special glue by Stewart Schooley
I am looking for a glue that spreads easily, dries clear, is thick enough so that it doesn't soak into printed paper, forms a super strong thin film, and of course, is reasonably cheap. There are some glues in tubes that do the job, but they aren't easy to spread out. The best I have found so far...
