I got a post about this on another group and thought some of you might
also be interested.
Linda Franz (of quilted diamonds fame) has come out with a new product
called Inklingo. It is a CD with Adobe Reader pages of quilting
templates. You print the templates onto the wrong side of your...

Kite quilt help by
Louise and Ray Denny
A friend has asked me to seek the wisdom of this group. She is having
trouble with the Kite Quilt from "So Many Quilts" magazine of March/April
1998. The bottom half of the kite section curves inward no matter what she
does with it. If anyone here has made this quilt, do you have any handy...

This is Impossible by
Polly Esther
Forget it. If you imagine you can use up scraps, it can *not* be done. I
wanted to make a biscuits quilt for a preemie / shelter baby. I thought the
biscuits would make a special soft place for the little guy. Instead of
cutting into big yardage, I imagined using all the bit and pieces in...

OT - Cat diarrhea by
Johanna Gibson
Hello folks,
It seems that Sasha has diarrhea (I know, not the most pleasant
thing to talk about). I went out at a quarter to 5 to help my friend
Keiko with her triplets (15 months old) and she seemed fine. When I
came back at 10:30, she looked upset. I found that she had not been
able to get...

Back from Retreat by
Pauline
Hi Everyone,
I went to my Guild's retreat from Thursday thru Sunday in Sonoma, CA. It's
the first time I have gone. Everyone always raves about how much fun it is &
this year, I made my mind up to go. I went with 3 other girlfriends, but I
can see how you could easily go by yourself. Our...

OT front loading washers finale by
Polly Esther
I appreciated all the thoughts on the front loading washers but was left
curious about one thing. Do the front loaders leave 'some' water from one
wash to the next? We have to leave our washer lids open a while after
washing to dry out so they don't sour and mildew. My mama said so. Polly

I have only heard from one person that she...

Anyone attend the Hershey show this weekend? My guild Prez had a redwork

Hey, Ragmop!
I just got word that this will be our new community shuttle vehicle:
http://www.hybridtechnologies.com/products.php?sec=1&id=3
They're aiming for a September 15 delivery date. Now all we need is a good
LQS in my neighborhood to take the shuttle to. (And no cracks about how
there...

It's about Patchwork Party 2006. I am very new to quilting so this is a new

Need help - JoAnn's (slightly OT) by
A&T
Here's the deal:
I am working on a log cabin with a twist for my son. He chose the
fabric and it isn't all 100% cotton (a first for me, but it is working okay)
The problem is I didn't get enough of two of the fabrics. I have been
to every JoAnn's in the Houston area and one in OKC, and one...

House quilt - a question by
Fey
I'm about half way through piecing my quilt top.
This will leave me about 1 month before it needs to be warming my
relatives.
So, I am thinking about the quilting. I will be using a fairly low loft
wool/poly batting.
Can you more experienced ppls tell me if I can quilt it myself in that
time? I...
