Cooking was Karen's Thoughts by Caryn
If you were thinking of the safety factor Dianne, I don't recall ever hearing they caused fires. I expect they just expire, rather than burst into flames. I have killed two, both of them blew a thermostat and the food just boiled the whole time. No fire, just way over cooked glob! Caryn

Beyond "Ordinary" Embroidery........ by lula
Since I posted about creating an original embroidery "illustration" of a Russian folk art Father Frost in swirling snow, I've been rethinking the project all over again and wondering why my enthusiasm for this project was starting to wane recently......... It was while I was looking through...

OT -- U.S. Army Reserve Duty by Jere Williams
I have a totally off-topic question, but one that seems to acquired importance in my life very recently. I seem to recall that there are several people who read this newsgroup who are either in the reserves or related to someone in the reserves. If someone who is in the Army Reserves says he is...

Matilda, beyond ordinary embroidery and inspirations by Linda Wright
I want to thank everyone who has been posting to these threads. You have inspired me to look for a new project that is fun, whimsical and light. Of course, first I have to finish at least one of the two XS WIPs I have (both promised to people), but I am looking. I'll keep you posted!
