Hug Quilt Pati update by
Kay Ahr
I think I sent two blocks for the Gifford quilt(s). Also involved in that
same Baseball Swap. On that one we got guilt-tripped. I'll participate in
these things when they are local -- when I can look the person in the eye.
Where there are 100 other people right in the same locale.
After...

It Just Won't Go Away. by
Sherry
I got a little overzealous in signing up for newsletters and such on
various quilting sites and ended up getting way too many mailings--I
got tired of having to wade through it all to find personal email.
Some of them I do enjoy and appreciate. Some I found they just weren't
sites I'd ever order...

Good thoughts please by
Dee in Oz[_3_]
My father had a serious car accident last week. He failed to give way to
another car and t-boned it. As far as we know the other driver has only
suffered a broken collar bone.
Dad is due for his third surgery tomorrow, this will be to start the facial
reconstruction and check on his broken...

In Russia there lived a man named Rudolf. He and his wife had several

Rudolf mentioned to his wife that it was raining and the kids needed

A Finish! by
Marcella Peek
So excited. I rarely ever finish a quilt. You'd think being a quilter
it would happen often, but not for me.
Not only am I very slow but I like the process and really don't care
about the end product. Heresy, I know.
However, last December I gave my husband a basted quilt for his
birthday....

OT tiny QI safety by

A hungry BIG bird tried to carry off Yogi. Yogi has two puncture wounds
from the bird's claws and some torn/ripped skin but the vet says he is doing
fine. Terrified us. Yogi seems okay; isn't even playing the sympathy card
(which he does very well). As with your children, you try to protect...

A Scottish Christmas Joke by
barnyowl[_2_]
A man in Scotland calls his son in London the day before Christmas Eve
and says, "I hate to ruin your day but I have to tell you that your
mother and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough".
"Dad, what are you talking about?'" the son screams.
"We can't stand the sight of each...

Talking Centipede Christmas Joke by
barnyowl[_2_]
.......Christmas was coming and a single man decided that his life
would be more exciting if he shared it with a pet.
He went to the pet shop and told the owner that he was hoping to find
an unusual pet. After some discussion, he decided to buy a talking centipede

I'm already to get working on the Christmas letter and cards, and I can't

doesn't pay to do things early....like buy the stamps before they were
actually needed.

Re Reindeer wall hanging with lights by
Sally Swindells[_3_]
Ages ago I downloaded a free pattern for a wall hanging -
Rudolph/Reindeer with little lights on his antlers.
He looked too difficult for me to tackle then and I had no suitable
lights. Now I feel I could do him and have lights, the pattern has
completely disappeared. It was a side view of...

Curses! by

The guild's potluck is Monday night and we're supposed to bring 2 new
spools of thread wrapped up in fabric for the gift exchange.
No problem!, I think to myself. I have fabric. I have thread. Except of
course that most of my thread is used, so whole spool is not there. Except
this one...

Have I mentioned recently that all my children have lost their minds?
With the stuff DD1 has been dealing with, that is no big shock.
By the way Damian has tested clear of his infection. His brothers have
not though, and that has been making visitation with his father all kinds
of confusing. 4...
