Windows Live by
Cindy from GA but wants to be in MO
Does anyone use Windows live to send and receive emails?
If you do, have you noticed that it takes forever to send a message.
It goes to the Outbox and just sits there for quite some time before
sending. Is this normal?

OT Has anyone used PC Stitch or PC Stitch Pro? by
Susan Laity Price
Long ago in the dark ages I charted counted cross stitch designs by
hand on graph paper. Once I started quilting I dropped my cross
stitching. Now I hear so many baby boomers, whose eyes no long let
them cross stitch, lamenting the fact that there are few quality
stamped cross stitch items...

OT Alewives by

I remember my uncle frying them fresh-caught in a butter-herb batter.
Tasted great.

Tonight I dreamt... by
Ursula Schrader
.... about the quilt I'm currently making. I was on board of one of those
fast ICE trains to Berlin and was working on those tiny bits and pieces,
trying to bring them together. The real quilt has greens, oranges, reds and
black in it, but in my dream, suddenly there was a lot of blues that I...

Elna Stella by
Julia in MN[_5_]
I went into the local sewing center for a spool of thread this morning.
While there, I wandered over to the used machines, and, lo and behold,
there was a sweet little Elna Stella. I have been wanting an Elna Lotus,
but after I saw Stella I really want her. She's in mint condition. The
little...

QI gone to Rainbow Bridge by

I am extremely upset at the moment. My darling daughter is hysterical - she
was parking her car and accidentally ran over and killed her beloved Mishka
tonight. She was the eldest of my QIs and I don't know how to console my
daughter. Mishka raced out the door when DD went out - she would play...

Quilting Hoarder by

I guess this show has already aired but I
missed it the first go-round and thought maybe
others did as well.
On Oprah's new OWN network there's an hour show
about a family who feels quilting comes before them.
She's suppose to have a ton of fabric.
I have DirecTV and this shows airs...

Who is making a Frugal Patch? by

I know one of us is, but can't remember who. I made one. But
obviously when I was cutting I don't know when to stop because I have
approximately one zillion of those teeny rectangles left I'd be glad
to send you. They're batik. Email me at sriddles at aol dot com

ISO fabric scraps...hand-dyes, batiks, silks by
aoph
Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone had any scraps they'd consider parting with? Looking mainly for batik (the subtle, kind of watercolor, type without the wax patterns), any hand-dyes, and also silks (charmeuse, dupioni, etc). Color and symmetry isn't important as long as they aren't all one color...
